Description: A forgotten lake. The trail is certainly short, but Begbie Lake itself is worth checking out. This spot would be of interest for anyone wanting to get out in the canoe or standup paddle board on a hot summer day. There is even a picnic table to set up lunch.
Directions: Drive south on Highway 23. 12km from the Highway 1 turnoff look for a pullout. Park here and pickup the trailhead heading towards the lake.

Useful Maps:

Begbie Lake is a great little lake for fishing from a canoe or bellyboat. It has been stocked over the years with rainbow trout. The fish are not large, but there are lots of them and they take a fly readily.
Thanks Ken for the comment. Feel free to add any other info you have about any of the other trails. The more local input the better!
