Rating: 2 stars.
Use: Rock Climbing, Hiking.
Difficulty: Easy.
Distance: 500 m.
Description: Even though this trail is technically within Mount Revelstoke National Park, you will not find any mention of it in any guide so I have included it here as opposed to the Mount Revelstoke National Park Section. This trail is mainly used by rock climbers to access Silvertip Canyon. Even if you are not a climber the trail is worthy of note early season to check out the waterfalls. Good views of Twin Butte.
Directions: A little bit difficult to spot the trailhead from the highway. Better to punch in the GPS coordinates for this one.
Trailhead GPS:
- Silvertip Canyon Trailhead: N51 02.456 W117 59.092
Useful Maps: Refer to ‘Revelstoke Rocks’, the rock climbers guidebook to Revelstoke.
