Rating: 2 stars.
Use: Rock Climbing, Hiking.
Distance: 600 m.
Description: Even though this trail is technically within Mount Revelstoke National Park, you will not find any mention of it in any guide so I have included it here as opposed to the Mount Revelstoke National Park Section. Trail is mainly used for access to the Lauretta Slabs climbing area. The trail gives you another option early season when you want to get out of the house for some exercise but the snow line is still only halfway up the mountains. Trail goes through an enormous boulder field on the way to the slabs. Good for practicing boulder hoping. Once at the base of the slabs the views of Albert Peaks are excellent.
Directions: A little difficult to spot the trailhead from the highway. Better to punch in the GPS waypoint.
