Woolsey Creek to Durrand Glacier Chalet Trail

Rating: ? stars.

Use: Hiking.

Difficulty: Difficult.

Distance: ? km

Description: A trail that was most likely an old mining trail that was once cleared and used by Selkirk Mountain Experience to Access the Durrand Glacier Chalet in Summer. Likely overgrown.

Directions: Proceed up the Woolsey Creek FSR, probably as far as one can drive. Exact location of the Trailhead is unknown. Contact Selkirk Mountain Experience for details…better yet, book a week long hiking adventure with SME and fly in to the Durrand Glacier Chalet by Helicopter! This area is a world class hiking destination. For years I flew both summer and winter guest exchanges for SME. Ruedi and Nicoline are amazing hosts. The chalet is immaculate and the food is second to none. They have a very extensive network of incredible trails that they have built up over the past 25 years. Highly recommended for any fitness and ability level. See the Website Link Section for the SME Website.
